The Four Seasons Hotel in Doha is a majestic 17-story building located a few steps from the sea in the capital of Qatar. It is mirrored in its grandeur while remaining true to the country’s roots.
It has 180 rooms and 57 suites and includes 5 swimming pools, all located a few steps from the hotel’s private beach and marina, as well as 10 restaurants, a lounge, a hair salon, a fitness center overlooking the sea and a luxurious health centre.
The interior, designed by the French designer Pierre-Yves Rochon, is characterized by light colours; in the common areas, green tones have been used to give the feeling of a luxuriant garden full of life, while in the rooms blues and beiges have been used, the colors of Doha, a place where sea, sand, sky and earth meet.
There are some aesthetic touches with Middle Eastern influences paying homage to the local culture, such as mother-of-pearl inlays and arabesque decorations. A mix of classic and contemporary furniture, chandeliers and objects, created by local and international craftsmen, act as a counterpart to a technology that is as advanced as it is discreet.
The SPA
Created under the direction of Raison d’Etre, the Spa at the Four Seasons Hotel in Doha includes a hydrotherapy pool with underwater jets and water blades, hot and cold tubs, an ice room and a Laconium. An environment designed to gradually warm up the body, inducing a progressive purification with the loss of perspiration.
A luxurious private spa suite is also available with a Jacuzzi, a Turkish bath, a Swiss shower (i.e. a shower that is carried out by laying on a mattress with powerful jets of water coming from above) and a couple’s treatment room equipped with Florence beds by Lemi.
The Treatments
The spa of the Four Seasons in Doha offers some exclusive treatments, such as ‘Golden Opulence’ by the Amra cosmetic brand. Made with 24k gold body enamel used for exfoliating the skin; the product is rich in vitamin C and its active ingredients continue their function up to 24 hours after treatment.
‘The Splurge’, on the other hand, is a triple lifting facial treatment by Biologique Recherche, carried out with a remodelling machine that works to lift the muscles of the face.
The hammam ritual includes a full body exfoliation, a relaxing massage and a facial, using the Australian line Sodashi.
