The Resort
Built in the Persian Gulf on an artificial half-moon-shaped island approximately 800 meters long, Anantara Banana Island is a 5-star luxury resort that combines an exclusive island atmosphere with the ever-expanding urban environment of the city of Doha.
With an architecture inspired by tropical resorts combined with the local vernacular, the structure is composed of a central heart, which houses the main services, and a series of 141 guest houses which, from the beach reach the sea, where we find some villas built directly on the crystal clear waters of the gulf.
The resort includes a marina, a swimming pool where you can practice surfing, eight restaurants, each of which offers a specific cuisine and a spa with 21 treatment rooms.
The resort’s spa offers treatments and services focused on relaxation, detoxification, fitness, weight management, yoga, alternative therapies, pre and post-natal therapies, and anti-aging rituals.
It also includes an indoor botanical garden, an oxygen fern room, and a women-only hot tub. A nutritional cuisine linked to well-being is offered.
There are separate male and female Turkish hammams, hot tubs, and a treatment menu developed with the region’s rich cultural heritage in mind.
Particular care has been given to the treatment rooms, which include:
1 Ayurveda room with an ebony Shirodhara bed
4 couples suites with sea or garden view, each with its own sauna, mosaic jacuzzi, private showers and toilets
5 individual treatment suites overlooking the sea, each with its own private bathroom, showers and aromatic steam room
6 spa treatment suites overlooking the surrounding botanical gardens
1 Thai therapy suite with sea view
The pride of the spa is the hydrotherapy treatment offered to customers on Lemi’s Aemotio Spa Bed.
