The Resort
Ischgl is undoubtedly one of the most renowned tourist resorts in the Tyrolean Alps, and attracts a large number of national and international guests every year thanks to the breathtaking natural beauty, the quality of its ski slopes and the high level of services that it offers. In this first-class area, there is the Trofana Royal, a luxurious five-star superior hotel managed by the Thannen family. The hotel, which is made up of several buildings, has 111 rooms and suites, all spacious and furnished with a luxurious taste and respectful of the local mountain style. Furthermore, it offers two award-winning restaurants with a cellar of over 25,000 bottles of wines from the best cultivation areas in the world and a large wellness center of approximately two thousand square meters, that includes a fully equipped gym.
The SPA
The Spa of the Hotel Trofana Royal is located in the heart of the hotel and has four indoor and outdoor pools with dedicated relaxation areas. The thermal area offers two saunas and a steam bath in the “no-nude” area, while in the “nude” area you can try the Finnish sauna, the infrared sauna, the salt sauna, the steam bath with herbs, the ice cave and a shower path.
The area dedicated to beauty offers a wide range of treatments inspired by both local and oriental traditions, such as Shiatsu and Ayurveda. It is equipped with Lemi treatment beds and uses skincare products from Sisley Paris, Ligne St. Barth and Le Duigou.
The menu ranges from delicate massages with aromatic oils to sports massages and Kinesio Taping, which is particularly popular during the winter season due to the influx of skiers.
The Kenesium Taping
Kinesio Taping is a particular treatment originating in Japan and developed about 30 years ago by chiropractor Dr. Kenzo Kase. This innovative and non-invasive method deals with the treatment of pain, inflammation and swelling through the application of an elastic adhesive tape, without the use of active substances. Before the tapes are applied, each guest is individually examined to ensure personalized treatment.
