Studio Bizzarro | La Coquillade Relais & Chateaux

La Coquillade is a great hotel affiliated with the Relais & Chateaux chain located in the Provence countryside.
The beautiful setting that surrounds it is made from the combination of red soils in warm tones. Castles, clinging villages and fragrant lavender fields and magnificent vineyards are lost on the horizon. In this corner of Provence, Arch.

Sergio Bizzarro has designed an important expansion of Coquillade, realizing a SPA immersed in picture postcard landscape that is imprinted in the eye for its colors, flavors, fragrances and essences that change depending on the season.

The Concept

L ‘Arch. Sergio Bizzarro has created spaces with refined elegance and comfort of basic plant design and cutting edge technology in the field using noble materials such as natural wood, stone, marble, glass to get the best technical and aesthetic result. The SPA is innovative for the symbiosis between interior and exterior spaces. The SPA seems to expand to the idyllic nature around entering as a backdrop and recurring theme through the large windows and panoramic views that create a contact with the outside.

The sauna is made with local essences extracted directly from the surrounding woods, while the technological steam bath spreads inside essences are either formed in the surrounding countryside where fields of lavender reign supreme. Within these areas the client lives an experience of total involvement of the senses in which all senses are caressed with the latest technology.

Zooning

The Spa occupies a superficje of about 3,000 square meters. of which 1,800 are covered and 1,200 of appurtenances and external activities. It is basically divided into three parts, one of which is for dressing rooms for body treatments and treatments, the second one for swimming pools and its appurtenances and the third one includes a sauna, steam baths, hammams, reaction pools, whirlpools, showers and hot and cold emotional booths. Completing the organization of the spaces are large areas for relaxation where you can rest while admiring the fascinating panorama of the Louberon.
